Dear Employees,
We would like to inform you about an important change in DATEV Arbeitnehmer online: the current login method using smsTAN will be discontinued as of 31 December 2026. In the future, access will only be possible via a personal, free DATEV account in combination with an Authenticator App.
What is changing?
- Starting approximately 1 December 2025, the migration assistant will be available at:https://go.datev.de/ano
- The switch to a DATEV account is expected to become mandatory from 1 March 2026. From that date onward, when logging in with smsTAN, the migration assistant will open automatically. You will only be able to access your payroll documents after completing the change to the new login method.
- Until 31 December 2026, you can still log in to DATEV Arbeitnehmer online using smsTAN.
How to proceed:
Start the migration assistant by logging in to DATEV Arbeitnehmer online as usual. Change the login method to a DATEV account and an Authenticator App. The DATEV account will be created during the migration process.
Follow the instructions provided by the assistant to complete the setup of the DATEV account login.
